Syrian Army Pounds Militants in Dara'a Province
 

"One of the main command centers of the militant groups in one of the Southern neighborhoods of the city of Dara'a Ballad came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army," sources said Thursday, adding that the center was totally destroyed.
During the operation, Syrian army forces and their allies also managed to destroy several vehicles of the militants in different neighborhoods in the city.
Meantime, Russian jets carried out several airstrikes over the town of Saida in Dara'a province, destroying a number of terrorists' positions in the town. "Dozens of militants were killed or injured during the air raids," sources said.
The Syrian army also in Dara'a ballad destroyed several machinegun-equipped vehicles of the militants, and, in a separate operation, a radio communication station of the militants on the Dara'a-Tafas road was reduced to rubbles by the Syrian army forces who heavily pounded the station.
Sources also added that the Syrian Amy units, in an attack backed by popular forces on a Nusra front position in the Northeastern districts of al-Naymah town, 4 km East of Dara'a city, destroyed the terrorist group's heavy machinegun-equipped vehicle and a mortar launcher,.
On Wednesday, the Syrian army managed to inflict a heavy blow on a militant group called “Liwa al-Mutasem Billah" in Tafas town, 13 km North of Daraa city, where all members of the terrorist group there were killed in army operation against their position in the area.
In Another development yesterday, Scores of the militants were killed or injured in the Syrian government forces' offensive near Tafas.
The government forces also targeted militants' machinegun-equipped vehicles near the town of Khirbet Qazala in the Northeastern territories of Dara'a province.
