Syrian Army Continues Advances in Raqqa Province
 
 

The army units advanced towards al-Zakiyeh al-Mahdoum village, Mohammad Zeib Maskana village and al-Tabaqa town.
Scores of terrorists were killed and injured in fierce clashes with the government troops.
In a relevant development earlier today, the Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF), backed up by the Russian and Syrian fighter jets, drove the ISIL militants back from several strategic heights in Raqqa province.
The Syrian government forces stormed the ISIL defense lines near the small town of Zahiyeh and seized back three strategic heights and several hills in the region.
The Syrian and Russian warplane in a fresh round of join combat flights had pounded the ISIL positions near Zakiyeh to weaken the terrorists' defense capabilities.
The ISIL left behind many dead and wounded members and fled the battlefield to evade more casualties.
The Syrian government forces continue to advance against the rest of ISIL fighters in the battlefield.
The Syrian fighter jets pounded the ISIL training camp in the Northeastern province of Raqqa, inflicting major losses on the terrorist group.
Scores of the ISIL fresh recruits and military trainers were killed or wounded after one the terrorist group's main training camps came under the Syrian air attacks.
Also on Sunday, the Syrian jets targeted and totally destroyed a major training building used by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in Raqqa.
The sources said at least thirty three terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in the aerial attack over the focal point of ISIL-controlled territories in Syria.
Some reports claimed that the building was one of the ISIL's training structures in the city of Raqqa.
