Pentagon in Vice: Iran, Russia, Hezbollah Triumph in Syria

Testifying to the Senate on February 9, DIA Chief Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart declared the US calculus on the Syrian War had completely changed over the last six months because of deep Russian involvement. He went on to acknowledge that President Bashar al-Assad is a “long-term player” and no longer on the way out.
We can still remember vividly how the War Party and its regional minions were giving peace very little chance, playing a key role in stirring up hatred and violence in the Middle East, and specifically demanding President Assad’s immediate ouster in order to pave the way for partition of Iraq and Syria, as well as formation of the “American Caliphate” in the Levant – in collaboration with all those proxy head choppers and Jihadi Johns. Much to the chagrin of regime changers, and according to several Pentagon admissions, the tables have turned and this was all wishful thinking. Not especially a surprise though.
It continues to be amazing that the very same war people that were talking about an “endgame” for President Assad just months ago, now are “forced” to admit to the world community that the elected president is in a much more secure position, that he can stay in power, and that he can even run for office in future elections. If this is not an official acknowledgement of their major failures in Syria, we don’t know what else is.
Nonetheless, the involvement of counter-terror alliance of Iran (a longtime neocon target for “regime change” along with Syria and before that Iraq), Russia and Lebanon’s Hezbollah – providing military advisers, air support, and resistance fighters for the Syrian government and allied forces – will continue to be a big part of Syria’s recovery of the rest of Latakia province plus further gains in Homs and Aleppo provinces. They have successfully ended Al-Qaeda’s four-year sieges against key Shiite towns of Nubl and Al-Zahra, all while putting serious pressure on the supply lines of various terrorist groups via Turkey. What’s more, they are gearing up for the next big push: Liberation of Aleppo and Raqqa.
As promised by God, they are achieving their legitimate military goals in Latakia and Homs – and soon Raqqa - as per the International Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Human Rights Law. Quite the opposite, and as an inevitability, the US-backed regime changers and terror thugs, which had earlier pushed the disastrous Libyan regime change, will continue to lack any success on any front throughout Syria – despite the suspicious US airstrikes and the Obama Administration’s silly predictions and dark of the night fantasies.
In any case, the Alliance will continue to help support the internationally recognized government of Bashar al-Assad, whose military remains the principal bulwark protecting Syria’s Christian, Alawite, Shiite and other minorities from genocide if ISIL and Al-Qaeda-connected jihadists had prevailed and managed to form the “American Caliphate.”
When it comes to Terror War, the Alliance members’ faith reveals itself in committing itself to the testimony and will of God, in resting in the promises and declarations of God, and in the word and work of God, which is defeating the forces of Evil and saving the innocent people of Syria from Evil. With God on their sides, the Alliance is doing all this and more. They won’t rest until they restore the greatness, the power, the glory, and the victory of Syria. No one is giving second thought to the fact that they will ultimately deliver the Syrian people from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in God.
