Syrian Army, Popular Forces Restore Security to More Territories in Lattakia
 

 
The militant groups pulled forces back from their positions near the villages of Dahret al-Baiday al-Mahrouq and Ard al-Kataf, and the hill of Ziyaret al-Beidha under the heavy offensives of the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF).
Scores of the militants were killed or wounded and their military hardware and vehicles were destroyed in the army assaults.
The Syrian government forces have had eye-catching victories in Lattakia in the recent weeks.
Earlier reports said that the Syrian Army and popular forces kept on advances against the militant groups in Northern Lattakia provinces and seized back four more villages.
The Syrian army troops and the National Defense Forces (NDF) pushed the terrorist groups back from their positions near the villages of al-Hoor, al-Ruweisat, al-Sweidia and al-Wadi al-Azrak in the mountainous regions of the coastal province near border with Turkey following hours of intense battle.
The militants left behind scores of dead and wounded members and destroyed military equipment and fled the battlefield.
