Syrian Warplanes Target Long Column of Militant Vehicles in Idlib
The over 20-vehicel convoy of militants was
transferring a large number of fresh fighters from the city of Idlib and
the town of Ariha to the Western and Southern battlefields in Aleppo
province that have been under the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army and
its popular allies in the recent days.
Almost the entire vehicles were destroyed in the air raids and the militants inside them were killed or wounded.
The convoy included several machinegun-equipped vans and minibuses.
Several field commanders have been among the killed or wounded militants.
On Tuesday, Syrian jets carried out an intensive
series of airstrikes over militant-held areas in Northwestern Idlib
province, inflicting huge losses and damage on the terrorists.
"The air raids were conducted over the two towns
of Hesh and al-Tamanna in the Southern regions of Idlib province,
eliminating scores of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists and leaving a number of
its structures destroyed," the sources said.
